After a week off, the Georgia Tech men's and women's cross country teams will return to the trail at the Virginia Tech Invitational in Blacksburg, Va. on Friday night. The women's 6K will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the men's 8K at 6:40 p.m.
The Georgia Tech cross country will travel the 63 miles to Bishop, Ga. to open the 2012 season in the UGA Invite on Saturday at the UGA Equestrian Farm. The men's 8K competition begins at 8 a.m. and the women 5K race at 8:45 a.m.
