Friday and Saturday are special days for the many FSU students that will take part in Fall 2012 commencement ceremonies at the Donald L. Tucker Center. Included in this semester's graduation celebration are 26 current and former student-athletes.

Gonzalo Barroilhet didn't make it look easy, but still managed to salvage his Olympic decathlon performance by scoring 4,000 points on the final day to finish 13th.

Kevin and Jonathan Borlee finished fifth and sixth in Monday's 400-meter Olympic finals, while two others with FSU ties advanced. Maurice Mitchell makes his Olympic debut in the 200 Tuesday morning.

Twins Kevin and Jonathan Borlee advanced to the 400-meter dash finals Sunday in London, while Kimberly Williams placed sixth in the triple jump. Only an injury to sprinter Kemar Hyman marred a strong day for the 'Noles.

Jonathan Borlee set a Belgium national record in the 400 meters, and is the No. 1 qualifier heading into Sunday's semifinals where he will be joined by his brother Kevin. Kemar Hyman also advanced to the semis in the 100 for the Cayman Islands.

Florida State's presence in London for the XXX Olympiad includes 12 track & field athletes, which is good for a share of the national lead among United States colleges.
