POCATELLO, Idaho -- Running wasn't always what brought my family together. My sisters and I tried out a lot of other things including gymnastics, soccer, softball and basketball. None of those sports ever really seemed to stick like running did. Bradi, my oldest sister, is the one we can thank for giving us the pathway to becoming runners. We thank my parents as well for letting us have the option to try new things. It was a love hate relationship for all of us at some point. Middle school running was dreadful for me. It took until my sophomore year of high school to realize how much of an impact running had on my life.
