Stellah Kiptui and Runelda Jackson finished first and second, respectfully, as Alcorn Women's Cross Country took second place at the 2022 SWAC Cross Country Championships on Monday at Apalachee Regional Park.

Under the direction of Jimmy Joseph, as well as Cross Country Head Coach Dr. Donald Bond, Alcorn Cross Country is gearing up for the SWAC Championships taking place Monday, Oct. 24, in Tallahassee, Fla.

Alcorn's Stellah Kiptui registered a seventh-place finish Friday morning, helping Alcorn Women's Cross Country as part of the Crimson Classic taking place at the Harry Pritchett Running Course on the campus of the University of Alabama.

Both the Alcorn Men's Cross Country and Women's Cross Country teams are in action this weekend when the Braves travel to Tuscaloosa, Alabama for the Crimson Classic on Friday, Oct. 14.
