Monmouth has made a habit of piling up points in the throws through the years, and that trend continued on Saturday at the 2013 NEC Men’s Indoor Track & Field Championships. Junior Errol Jeffrey spearheaded Monmouth’s 1-3-4-8 finish in the shot put, a result that yielded 22 of the Hawks’ meet-best 37.5 points on the day. Mount St. Mary’s stands second to Monmouth in the team standings. Thirteen of the Mountaineers’ points came in the 3,000m run with Christopher Swisko leading the charge with a second-place finish.
