Competing on Staten Island at the annual Harvard-Yale-Princeton (HYP) meet, the Crimson men s and women s track and field teams each captured second place. The women s squad earned 62 points while the men s team tallied 39.

Facing its second road trip of the season, Harvard indoor track and field splits up for a pair of meets Jan. 22-23 with the Rod McCravy Memorial, at Kentucky, and the Joe Donahue Invite at the Reggie Lewis Center.

Competing in its first home action of the year, Harvard women s track and field captured its fifth-straight Beantown Challenge championship while the men s squad finished third overall. The men s and women s teams combined for 15 event victories.

In its first home action of the season, Harvard indoor track and field is set to host the Harvard Multi Meet Friday, Jan. 15 and the Beanpot Challenge Saturday, Jan. 16. The latter meet will be broadcast on the Ivy League Digital Network.
