Ariana Washington ran the second leg on the USA women's 4x100-meter relay team which won its heat in 44.03 seconds.

Brennan finished third in her heat, the fastest of the three, and crossed the finish line in 53.81, securing a spot in Friday's final.

The third day of the competition will begin, Thursday at 10 a.m., and the afternoon session starting at 6 p.m.

The Women of Oregon had the third-most student-athletes represented on the all-academic list, with 12.

Ariana Washington won her heat of the women's 100 in 11.67.

Oregon freshmen Christian Brennan (400), Maggie Schmaedick (5,000) and Cole Walsh (pole vault) will each be competing.

The party will be held Tuesday, July 15 at Hayward Field. A unique social hour begins at 6 p.m. with free food and beer served on the west high jump apron inside the stadium. The one-hour show starts at 7 p.m.
