ITHACA, N.Y. --- Cornell hosted the 29th annual John Reif Memorial on Friday afternoon at the Moakley Course, competing against squads from Syracuse and Cortland. Under sunny skies and in ideal 50 degree temperatures, the Cornell men held out its top twelve for the upcoming Heps but had several good performances in a smaller field of 23 men, mostly from Syracuse and Cornell. With the tough recent winters and wet summer, the infamous gorge is no longer runnable but the new course (which has now been in play at most Cornell home meets over the past five seasons) has proven to be extremely spectator friendly.
