A school-record and Mountain West Conference-high three San Diego State athletic teams earned a Public Recognition Award from the NCAA on Wednesday based on its most recent multi-year Academic Progress Rate.

Eight Mountain West student-athletes were named to the 2012-13 Capital One Academic All-District ® Track & Field and Cross Country District 7 first team, announced on Thursday by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
