Jay Phillips, a 2005 Mount St. Mary's University graduate, is returning to his alma mater to take over as Head Coach of the cross country and track and field programs, Mount St. Mary's Director of Athletics Lynne Robinson announced on Wednesday. "We are thrilled to welcome Jay Phillips back to the Mount community as the head coach of our track and field programs," Robinson said. "We know that Jay will bring not only a love for the Mount, but a passion and expertise for the sport of track and field, and we look forward to his leadership in the years to come."
