Stefan Brits, Colleen Quigley and Alonzo Russell have earned Capital One Academic All-America honors, pushing FSU's total count of track & field and cross country honorees to 24 over the last 10 years.

Florida State student-athletes provided over 7,000 hours of community service this year.

FSU sophomore Carly Thomas is the first recipient of the Tracy Pepoon True Seminole Award, presented to the women's cross country runner who has gotten the most out of her ability.

Florida State junior Colleen Quigley was selected as the ACC Women's Cross Country Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and is one of six Seminoles to earn All-ACC Academic honors.

Florida State coach Bob Braman announced that the 42nd FSU Invitational will be held Oct. 10-11 at Apalachee Regional Park and serves as a Pre-Regional and Pre-State meet as well.
