Senior Ian Welch concluded his career in Red & Blue as he represented the Duquesne men's track & field team in two events at the NCAA East Regional this past weekend in Jacksonville, Fla.

Duquesne University track and field senior Evan Gomez (Butler, Pa./Butler) has been named to the 10-man Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track and Field Academic All-Conference Team as announced by the league office.

The Duquesne men's outdoor track program was recognized Wednesday by the NCAA for ranking in the top 10 percent of its sport in Academic Progress Rate (APR) scores. Public recognition is based on scores compiled through the 2013-14 academic year.

Numerous Duquesne men's track & field athletes wrapped up their seasons with impressive results at the IC4A Championships held May 15-17 at Princeton, N.J.

Duquesne's men's outdoor track and field team placed third of 11 teams at the 2015 Atlantic 10 Championship. The finish equals DU's all-time best finish at the event.

Duquesne's men's track & field team captured six first place finishes and secured four second place showings in placing second of three teams at the St. Francis Red Flash Open.
