When the football team has an away game and you're a member of the cross country team, you can bet your bottom dollar you won't get the chance to hit the snooze button on your alarm clock. For us, a Saturday morning means long run day, where some team members will put one foot in front of the other longer than it takes to sit down and watch a movie. After loading up the vans for, ironically, Sleepy Hollow's soft, undulating trails, the upperclassmen in the front sip on coffee while the plebes on the back benches rack out, drooling on each other's shoulders. Usually, no one talks as Nathan Fisher's diverse playlists croon country music or country music...or....country music. The lack of talking primarily stems from everyone not really being awake, in addition to not wanting to waste all our debates and conversations before such a long run.
