BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Both the Indiana men’s and women’s cross-country teams took first place at the Indiana Intercollegiate meet on Friday afternoon at the Boilermaker Cross Country Course. The IU men tallied 29 team points to take the top prize as the Hoosier women scored 19 team points in the Big State results.

It marked the sixth straight year that the IU women won the team title at Indiana Intercollegiates. IU’sAmanda Behnke came in first place in a time of 17:09.9 on the 3-mile course. Freshman Jill Whitman took second place in 17:30.3 as Amelia Reynolds placed fourth in 17:35.2. Bethany Neeley (5th, 17:36.0) andBrittany Neeley (7th, 17:36.9) also scored for the Hoosiers.
