1. Michigan State - Dominated regional powers including Iowa State at Roy Griak after taking 5 of the first 22 spots

2. Florida State - Winning events, but under control.  Quigley won ACC AOW again.

3. Michigan - Handily won Battle in Beantown against Georgetown.

4. Arkansas - They have dominated so far and have a national title contender in Scott

5. Oregon - UW meet Oct 4 will gage where they are at.  It will be interesting to see if Neer and Baxter open.

6. Georgetown - Easily handled by Michigan in Boston.  Still, very strong team.

7. Colorado - Wetmore has a developing team. Still waiting to see Southerland and 2013 top runners.

8. Stanford - Used their depth at home Invite to win.  Neither Cranny nor Cuffe ran but likely to run in Seattle next weekend

9. Iowa State - Smith is great at developing strong distance programs.

10. Virginia - Has looked solid so far and dominated at Panorama Farms

On the fence -

Butler  - Ran poorly at Roy Griak.  This team is experienced and could improve their positioning

Providence - Won Wolfie and at Stony Brook with a new #1 runner but we have not seen Sara Mary Collins and won't see her in Boston.  Duke runs in Boston,
