1. Michigan State - Dominated regional powers including Iowa State at Roy Griak after taking 5 of the first 22 spots 2. Florida State - Winning events, but under control. Quigley won ACC AOW again. 3. Michigan - Handily won Battle in Beantown against Georgetown. 4. Arkansas - They have dominated so far and have a national title contender in Scott 5. Oregon - UW meet Oct 4 will gage where they are at. It will be interesting to see if Neer and Baxter open. 6. Georgetown - Easily handled by Michigan in Boston. Still, very strong team. 7. Colorado - Wetmore has a developing team. Still waiting to see Southerland and 2013 top runners. 8. Stanford - Used their depth at home Invite to win. Neither Cranny nor Cuffe ran but likely to run in Seattle next weekend 9. Iowa State - Smith is great at developing strong distance programs. 10. Virginia - Has looked solid so far and dominated at Panorama Farms On the fence - Butler - Ran poorly at Roy Griak. This team is experienced and could improve their positioning Providence - Won Wolfie and at Stony Brook with a new #1 runner but we have not seen Sara Mary Collins and won't see her in Boston.
