1. Florida State - Winning events, but under control.  Quigley won ACC AOW again.

2. Michigan State - Contending regional powers Iowa State and Butler at Roy Griak

3. Michigan Looked good in dominating a light turnout of the Big 10 Preview.  More of a challenge at Battle in Beantown this weekend 

4. Georgetown - They have run well and will take on Michigan in Boston 

5. Butler  Facing MSU and Iowa State at Griak.  We will see how increased expectations will play out on a big stage

6. Arkansas - They have dominated so far and have a national title contender in Scott 

7. Oregon - UW meet Oct 4 will gage where they are at.  It will be interesting to see if Neer and Baxter open.

8. Colorado - Wetmore has a developing team. Still waiting to see Southerland and 2013 top runners.

9. Stanford - Stanford Invite will tell us where the team is at among the depth.  Neither Cranny nor Cuffe is entered.

10. Iowa State - Smith is great at developing strong distance programs.  Hooker opens at Griak after redshirting last year.

On the fence - Providence - Won Wolfie and at Stony Brook with a new #1 runner but we have not seen Sara Mary Collins and won't see her in Boston.  Duke runs in Boston,
