1. Florida State - Still has not run their best team. 2. Michigan State Strong performance at Bill Delinger and has been training since August 18. Of greater interest is the return of Sara Kroll, 2012 Big 10 champion and 50th at 2012 NCAA meet. 3. Michigan Waiting to see them open up 4. Georgetown ran well as a pack last year and returns top 3 and 6 of top 7 5. Butler is a developing program and returns 3 of top 5 and another great recruiting class - including Englist U-23 Steeple runner-up Laura Riches. 6. Arkansas - Ran very well at UCI/Adidas 7. Oregon - Has added good talent but just now starting training. 4 or 5 of top 7 did not run at Dellinger. UW meet will gage where they are at. 8. Colorado - Transfer Sara Southerland from Texas will help overcome loss of Shalaya Kipp. Wetmore has a developing team. 9. Providence lost 2 of their powerhouse 3 that drove them to the 2013 title but Coach Treacy is always ready to push the team to the top-10 10. Stanford - Has possible low stick in Cuffe, one of the top frosh in Cranny. Stanford Invite will tell us where team is at (like Oregon) Duke, Arizona, Boise State and New Mexico are solid teams already. Waiting to see Washington come out to run. |
